Meet the Founder
I'm Jesus Mendez, the founder of Microgies — an independent software consulting practice built on more than 25 years of hands-on experience across healthcare, construction, manufacturing, logistics, and beyond.
My path here started long before I called it "Microgies." I've spent my career being the person companies bring in when a system needs to be built from scratch, an old one needs to be modernized, or a stalled project needs someone to take ownership and get it moving again. That's included developing shop-floor control and scheduling systems for construction and manufacturing teams, leading IT operations for a logistics hub of hundreds of people, and building and managing the software teams behind HIPAA-regulated healthcare platforms in my current full-time role — including designing and piloting a local AI agent that lets staff query a HIPAA-covered production database in plain language, safely and without sending any data to the cloud.
I founded Microgies in 2025 to bring that same depth of experience — software architecture, database design, system integration, and process automation — directly to businesses who need it, on a project basis.
